SANCTUARY COVE PROJECT
Award winning landscape construction

SANCTUARY COVE

WINNER BEST RESIDENTIAL LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION

Tecscape's 'Best Residential Landscape Construction' in the 2016 Queensland Landscape Construction Awards completed the transformation of this architecturally-designed waterfront home at Sanctuary Cove into a resort-inspired retreat.

At the entrance, the landscape combines hard and softscaping elements, including turf, mixed plantings, concrete, tile, masonry walls, paving, timber-work and stone to create a secure yet welcoming entryway.

At the centre of the home is a stunning lagoon-style pool into which we integrated majestic stone water features and planters, and constructed an opulent entertaining deck, perfect for formal or casual entertaining.

At the rear of the property, retaining walls constructed in stone and timber nestle the home into the landscape while enhancing uninterrupted views of the waterfront.

WHAT THE CLIENT SAYS...

"We were impressed with Adrian's attention to detail and many things he came up with were above and beyond our expectations. I would certainly recommend Adrian and his company to anyone wishing to have an outstanding garden."

HOPE ISLAND

SPLENDOUR

Front and rear landscaping at this newly constructed Hope Island home on the Gold Coast completed the creation a suburban oasis.

A stone-clad water feature integrates with the pool and leads the eye to the back of the garden, while artificial turf provides zero-maintenance and all-year green.

At the front of the home, the owners imagined a contemporary portico with timber deck and moat, including fountains and moody outdoor lighting, all of which combine to lend the entrance remarkable presence.

Geometric hardscaping, boundary plantings and mature pandanas palms complete this low-maintenance garden that demonstrates poise and balance.

PALM BEACH PERFECTION

The owners of this Palm Beach home wanted a low-maintenance garden that provided room for the kids to play, as well as a relaxed outdoor entertaining area for adults.

Granite was used throughout the project, including a dramatic pathway of large-format step-stones leading from the gatehouse to the home’s front entry. Granite cobblestone was used for garden edging and ‘salt and pepper’ rock mulch was used as a feature.

A timber deck and thatched pavilion complete the picture, which after dark, transforms into a night-time oasis with metal artwork light boxes and dramatic up-lighting.
